This ritual set is built as a functional altar system centered around six core areas of traditional spiritual work: Protection, Prosperity, Clarity, Healing, Passion, and Shadow Work.
The set includes six hand-burned wooden intention discs, a coordinating wooden holder, and six matched tumbled stones selected to correspond with each working. Each disc features a selective iridescent sheen applied to parts of the design.
Each disc measures approximately 4 inches in diameter with a depth of 0.25 inches.
The wooden holder measures approximately 4.75 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep by 2.5 inches high.
The name of each intention is burned on the back of its disc.
The Six Intentions
Protection | Hexafoil
The hexafoil, also known as the daisy wheel, is a historic apotropaic mark found carved into medieval homes, barns, churches, and thresholds across Britain and continental Europe. It was traditionally used to guard boundaries and ward against harm, marking protected space and reinforcing spiritual containment.
Prosperity | Sheaf of Wheat
In agrarian cultures, harvest represented wealth and stability. The sheaf of wheat appears throughout folk art and heraldry as a symbol of cultivated abundance and sustained provision rather than sudden gain.
Clarity | Radiant Sun
The radiant sun appears in early solar iconography and traditional carving as a mark of illumination and truth. It represents clear perception and insight.
Healing | Triple Spiral
The triple spiral is a Neolithic and early Celtic motif found in ancient stone carvings. It represents life cycles, renewal, and continuity, symbolizing restoration and ongoing regeneration.
Passion | Torch
The torch has long symbolized life force and active will across ancient cultures. In Greek and Roman tradition, torches were carried in rites associated with transition and vitality. In domestic life, the hearth flame represented continuity and generative energy. Here it represents directed passion and embodied drive.
Shadow Work | Waning Crescent
The waning crescent appears in medieval and folk carving traditions. Historically, the waning moon was associated with inward work, release, and banishment in lunar timing practices. In this set, it represents shadow work, reflection, and integration of what is unseen.
Stones Included
Each disc is paired with a corresponding tumbled stone.
Protection | Black Tourmaline
Associated with grounding and energetic boundary work.
Prosperity | Green Aventurine
Linked with growth, opportunity, and cultivated abundance.
Clarity | Clear Quartz
Used traditionally for amplification and mental focus.
Healing | Bloodstone
Historically valued for vitality, endurance, and resilience.
Passion | Carnelian
Used since ancient Egypt and Rome as a stone of courage, motivation, and life force.
Shadow Work | Labradorite
Associated with introspection, intuition, and transformational work.
Use
The discs may be placed beneath candles, bowls, written petitions, or other ritual objects. They may also be arranged together as a contained altar grid. When stored in the holder, the set rests as a closed working system until intentionally opened.
Care and Safety
These discs and holder are made from natural wood and are not fireproof or heat-resistant surfaces.
They are suitable for use beneath contained candles such as glass jar candles or metal-bottom tea lights. Open flame, charcoal discs, resin burning, or prolonged direct heat exposure are not recommended.
Do not leave burning candles unattended. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or standing water. Wipe clean with a dry cloth only.
As with any wooden ritual surface, normal use may result in minor wax marks or darkening over time.
Each piece is hand burned, stained, and finished individually. Slight variation in tone and wood grain is natural and part of the character of the set.
Please note that colors may vary slightly from what you see in photos or videos due to lighting and natural wood tone, though I do my best to capture each piece as accurately as possible.
All metaphysical references are drawn from traditional folklore and personal spiritual practice. They are provided for historical and symbolic context and are not a guarantee of specific outcomes.
Only the six intention discs, wooden holder, and six listed tumbled stones are included. Any additional objects shown in photographs are for display purposes only.
