The Wand

Carved and shaped entirely by hand from solid oak, this piece has been refined from tip to base with attention to flow, balance, and control. The wood has been left in its natural tone and sealed rather than stained, allowing the grain and character to remain fully visible. The contrast comes from the burn work itself, adding depth without covering what the material already holds.

Freehand vine-like burn work moves along the body of the wand, following the natural shape rather than cutting against it. It gives the piece a sense of continuous motion, as if the pattern is growing along the surface rather than being applied to it.

Central Body

The bead fall is constructed on leather cord using moss agate, green aventurine, hematite, and thuja wood:
