A fully hand-burned raven skull divination board built as a blended pendulum and spirit-communication surface. Layered response paths, a full-alphabet ring, and numerical markers are arranged across a 12-inch Baltic birch wood round, creating a functional working surface for intuitive and ritual practice.

Each board is individually hand-burned using this established design structure. Because no laser engraving, printing, or mechanical replication is used, natural variation in linework, burn depth, wood grain, and finishing details will occur from piece to piece. Every board carries its own individual character while remaining faithful to the original design shown.

Designed for pendulum-based divination and intuitive work rather than traditional planchette use.

The Work This Piece Supports

  • Pendulum-based divination and intuitive response work
  • Spirit communication and reflective ritual practice
  • Threshold work, ancestral reflection, and liminal exploration
  • Focused altar work involving symbolism, intuition, and subtle perception

The Symbol

At the center rests a forward-facing raven skull beneath a crescent moon, framed by stars, botanical detailing, and branchwork adorned with suspended ornamentation. Ravens and their remains carry long-standing associations with threshold spaces, omens, hidden knowledge, memory, and communication between worlds across numerous folkloric and occult traditions.

The crescent moon reinforces the board's connection to intuition, cycles, and nocturnal workings, while the branching structure evokes pathways, crossroads, and unseen currents extending outward from the central point.

The Structure

The outer ring follows an established pendulum response structure with YES, NO, MAYBE, and REPHRASE placements arranged for intuitive movement during use. The interior ring holds the full alphabet alongside numerical markers, allowing the board to function as both a pendulum and spirit communication format.

The 12-inch format gives the piece significant physical presence while allowing lettering and symbolic structure room to breathe visually.

Ritual Applications

  • Pendulum divination and response work
  • Spirit communication and symbolic interpretation
  • Altar centerpiece or dedicated divination surface
  • Meditation, reflection, and intuitive focus work
  • Display piece for ritual or occult-inspired spaces

Craftsmanship

Fully hand-burned pyrography on a solid wood round, stained dark with hand-painted white detailing, then sealed in a protective satin finish. Every line, letter, and illustration was individually burned by hand. The dark stain and contrasting detailing preserve readability while maintaining the atmospheric quality of the piece.

Dimensions

  • Approximately 12 inches in diameter
  • Approximately 1/2 inch thick
  • Baltic birch wood round construction with substantial weight and depth

Handcrafted and Consecrated

Created slowly and intentionally by hand. This piece carries natural variation, slight asymmetry, and visible handcrafted character as part of its individuality and authenticity. Ritually prepared before leaving my hands.

  • Handle with care to preserve the finish and detailing.
