The Pendant

At the center rests a hand-burned wooden pendant featuring a four-pointed star surrounded by a ring of small marks suggesting the circle of the horizon and the quiet expanse of night.

Across many symbolic traditions, the four-pointed star represents direction and orientation, the ability to recognize one's place within the wider world. Rather than suggesting an external guide, it symbolizes the ability to find direction from within.

Beneath the pendant hangs a flowing black tassel finished with a silver colored wolf and crescent moon charm and coordinated beadwork. The wolf has long symbolized instinct, awareness, and the ability to move confidently through uncertain terrain. Paired with the crescent moon, the symbol reflects the quiet wisdom of night and the heightened perception that comes from listening closely to your surroundings and inner voice.
