This is a more materially involved and structurally layered piece than my standard talisman design.

A working talisman handcrafted to support inner stillness, clarity of intent, and the steady discipline of composure in the face of distraction, pressure, or emotional noise.

This is not a piece about chasing peace. It is about returning to center, again and again, until stillness becomes a stable foundation rather than a fleeting state. It focuses on the space between reaction and response: where clarity emerges and intention becomes deliberate.

This piece is constructed with a dual-strand neck loop rather than a single continuous strand. This layered structure creates a sense of containment and reinforcement, reflecting the core intention of the work. Stability is not a single line held together. It is a framework that supports itself from multiple points.

The Pendant

At the center rests a hand-burned wooden pendant marked by a clear division across its surface. This split field reflects the balance between inner and outer experience, thought and emotion, impulse and restraint. It does not represent opposition, but awareness of both states at once.

Clarity does not come from eliminating one side. It emerges through recognition, presence, and the ability to remain steady between them.

Beneath the pendant hangs a white tassel finished with a silver-colored knotwork charm and coordinated beadwork. The knotwork symbolizes continuity and the sustained nature of discipline, the quiet reality that balance is not achieved once, but maintained over time. The tassel introduces movement and release, softening the structure above while reinforcing the idea of flow within control.

• Black Agate Grounding, stability, and the ability to remain centered when external conditions are shifting or uncertain.
• Matte Black Seed Beads Create rhythm and containment throughout the strands, reinforcing the structured nature of the design.
• Silver-Colored Metal Accent Beads (Multiple Styles) Introduce definition and separation between elements, maintaining clarity within the overall composition while adding layered visual texture.
• Knotwork Charm Continuity, discipline, and the sustained effort required to maintain balance and self-control over time.
• White Tassel with Coordinated Bead Fall Release, movement, and the ability to let tension pass without disrupting internal stability.

Natural variation in wood grain, bead finish, and stone patterning ensures no two works are ever identical. Every talisman is ritually blessed before leaving my hands.

Care & Notes

This talisman has a noticeable weight due to the combination of natural stone and metal accents. While comfortably wearable, it is best suited for intentional wear, altar display, or meditation work rather than extended daily wear during strenuous activity.

Handle with care and store thoughtfully to preserve the longevity of the leather cord and beadwork. Colors may vary slightly from photos due to lighting and natural wood tone, though I do my best to capture each piece as accurately as possible.
