A talisman created in honor of Hekate, aligned with her role as keyholder, torchbearer, and guardian of thresholds. This piece is designed for those working within liminal space, crossroads energy, and the practice of navigating what is seen, unseen, and in-between.

Rather than opening indiscriminately, this talisman is built around controlled access. It supports perception without overwhelm, movement without disorientation, and engagement with spiritual currents while remaining grounded and self-held.

In simple terms: a piece for seeing clearly, staying steady, and choosing what you open.

The Pendant

At the center is a 1.5-inch hand-burned wooden pendant featuring an eight-spoked wheel enclosed within a circular boundary. The design draws directly from the wheel of Hekate etched into the steps of her temple at Lagina, reflecting her role as a guide through crossroads and transitional space.

The radial structure represents direction, movement, and the convergence of paths, while the enclosing circle reinforces containment, control, and the ability to stand at the threshold without being pulled through it.

Tassel and Symbolic Weight

The talisman is finished with a black tassel paired with a purple accent tassel, creating both visual grounding and directional flow. The tassel acts as a weighted extension of the piece, drawing energy downward and stabilizing the structure during wear and ritual use.

A silver-colored metal hand holding three skeleton keys is integrated into the tassel assembly, representing access, authority, and deliberate engagement. The three keys reflect Hekate's triple aspect and her dominion over pathways between states of being. This reinforces the principle that access is granted through intention, not assumption.

Strung on waxed cotton cord and constructed with:

• Amethyst - Supports perception, intuition, and clear sight without distortion
• Larvikite/Labradorite - Associated with threshold work, shifting awareness, and liminal space
• Hematite - Grounding, containment, and maintaining control during spiritual engagement
• Matte black glass seed beads - Absorption, quieting, and reduction of external noise
• Nickel-free metal spacer beads (styles may vary slightly based on availability) - Structure, segmentation, and reinforcement of the overall pattern
• Coordinated bead fall and metal elements - Weight distribution, balance, and visual cohesion

Because materials are sourced in small batches, slight variation in spacer styles and bead tone may occur while maintaining the overall structure and intention of the piece.

Numerological Structure

This piece carries a triadic current through the presence of the three keys, reflecting layered access and the navigation of multiple states of being. The broader strand supports this through balanced repetition, reinforcing movement through pathways while maintaining control and containment.

Handcrafted and Consecrated

Each piece is constructed by hand and ritually consecrated before leaving my hands. While the overall design remains consistent, natural variation in materials ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike. Made in small runs as materials are available.

Care and Notes

Handle with care to preserve the longevity of the waxed cotton cord and beadwork. Because the pendant is natural wood and the piece is constructed as beadwork rather than hardware, it should be treated as a handcrafted ritual object rather than a heavy-duty keychain.

Because this piece is constructed from natural materials and built as a working talisman, wear over time is expected. Should the cord eventually give under long-term use, this is considered part of the piece's natural lifecycle. Rebuilding services are available if you would like the piece to be restrung and returned to working condition.
