One of a kind. This piece will not be recreated in this exact form.
A working talisman built around pattern recognition, cyclical awareness, and the steady unraveling of what continues to repeat. Constructed with a grounded, material-forward approach, this piece is designed for ritual wear, altar work, or intentional personal practice.
In simple terms, this talisman supports recognizing patterns clearly and choosing whether to continue or break them.
The Work This Piece Supports
This is not a piece for passive reflection. It is built for active awareness and deliberate change.
It supports:
- Recognizing repeating patterns in behavior, thought, or circumstance
- Breaking cycles that no longer serve
- Strengthening disciplined awareness
- Maintaining control during internal work
- Developing clarity through repetition rather than avoidance
This is a piece for those who are ready to see clearly and act accordingly.
The Pendant
At the center rests a hand-burned wooden pendant marked with interlinked circles. Linked circles appear across multiple old-world traditions as representations of continuity, connection, and cycles without a clear beginning or end. They reflect systems that feed into themselves, repeating until something within them is consciously changed.
Here, the symbol acts as both a mirror and mechanism. It represents the patterns being worked through, while also reinforcing the ability to step outside of them through awareness.
The burn is intentionally kept raw and slightly irregular, allowing the form to feel lived-in rather than rigid. This reinforces the idea that patterns are rarely perfect, but they are consistent.
Tassel and Symbolic Weight
Beneath the pendant hangs a black tassel with a brown accent, anchored by a knotwork charm. The knotwork reflects entanglement, continuity, and the layered nature of repeated patterns. With no clear beginning or end, it reinforces the idea of cycles that sustain themselves until they are consciously interrupted.
Placed at the lowest point of the piece, it acts as the active field of the work: not just observing patterns, but engaging with them and working them loose over time. The black tassel reinforces grounding and containment, while the brown accent ties the piece back into physicality and steady, rooted change.
Sacred Materials
- Picasso Jasper (matte and polished): Traditionally associated with pattern, memory, and internal mapping. Supports recognition of cycles, behaviors, and underlying structure.
- Hematite: Provides grounding, stability, and mental clarity. Keeps the work contained and prevents scattered focus.
- Black Lava Stone: Represents pressure, transformation, and internal restructuring. Supports change that is built rather than forced.
- Dark Sandalwood: Adds steadiness and discipline, anchoring the work in consistent practice.
- Glass Seed Beads (Matte Black and Aged Silver): Create rhythm and continuity while reinforcing the grounded, structured tone of the piece.
- Silver-Colored Metal Accents: Provide weight and structure, supporting the overall balance of the design.
- Hand-Burned Wooden Pendant: Marked with linked circles representing cycles, continuity, and pattern recognition.
- Knotwork Charm: Represents entanglement, repetition, and the process of working through layered patterns.
- Leather Cord: Flexible and durable, supporting long-term ritual use.
Numerological Structure
Constructed with an 8-based count. Eight reflects cycles, repetition, and continuity, reinforcing this piece as one focused on recognizing patterns and working through them with intention rather than reacting to them unconsciously.
Ritual Applications
This talisman supports:
- Shadow work and behavioral pattern recognition
- Breaking cycles and establishing new directions
- Strengthening disciplined awareness
- Maintaining clarity during ongoing internal work
Best suited for intentional use rather than casual daily wear, given its length and structure. Wear during ritual, reflection, or periods of focused personal work. It may also be placed on an altar as a working anchor.
Dimensions
- Neck loop (one side): approximately 21 inches
- Full hanging length: approximately 29 inches
Handcrafted and Consecrated
This piece is entirely one of a kind and will not be recreated in this exact form. Natural variation in wood grain, stone tone, and beadwork ensures each element carries its own character. Every talisman is ritually blessed before leaving my hands.
Care and Notes
Handle with care to preserve the longevity of the leather cord and beadwork. Because the pendant is natural wood and the piece is constructed as beadwork rather than hardware, it should be treated as a handcrafted ritual object. The leather cord and construction are designed for ritual use and mindful handling, not heavy daily strain.
Because this piece is constructed from natural materials and built as a working talisman, wear over time is expected. Should the cord eventually give under long-term use, this is considered part of the piece’s natural lifecycle. Rebuilding services are available if you would like the piece to be restrung and returned to working condition.
Colors may vary slightly from photos or videos due to lighting and natural wood tone, though I do my best to capture each piece as accurately as possible.
