Historically found across multiple ancient and folk traditions, the solar cross is associated with continuity, ordered force, cyclical power, protective solar symbolism, and the sustaining presence of light against darkness. As with all early construction experiments, it should be handled with reasonable care.

This piece is entirely one of a kind and will not be recreated in this exact form. Natural variation in wood grain, stone coloration, and bead patterning ensures each element carries its own character. Every talisman is ritually blessed before leaving my hands.

The only metal in the piece is the sword charm itself, making the overall construction generally suitable for those with sensitivities to wearing metal.

Care and Notes

Handle with care to preserve the longevity of the cord and beadwork. Because the pendant is natural wood and the piece is constructed as beadwork rather than hardware, it should be treated as a handcrafted ritual object rather than a heavy-duty piece.

Wear over time is expected with natural materials. Should the cord eventually give under long-term use, this is considered part of the piece's natural lifecycle. Rebuilding services are available if you would like the piece restrung and returned to working condition.
